Directory pages and planning guides are prepared by the SafeHome Access Editorial Team. We do not invent individual expert names or credentials. When a guide receives review from a named occupational therapist, contractor, attorney, benefits specialist, or other subject-matter professional, that reviewer and the scope of review will be disclosed on the page.
How directory listings are created
Unclaimed listings are compiled from a business’s official website, public licensing sources, or other identified primary sources. Each profile names its source and review date. A business may claim its profile and submit updates, but proposed changes are reviewed before publication.
“Public information reviewed” does not mean a business is endorsed, continuously monitored, background checked, or guaranteed safe. Paid placement is labeled and does not replace independent evaluation.
How planning guides are researched
For benefits, permits, standards, and public programs, we prioritize current government and administering-agency sources. Guides link to their primary sources and state where rules vary by property, jurisdiction, household, or program. Why we publish
Our goal is to help older adults, families, caregivers, and professionals organize questions, compare complete scopes, and find relevant local providers. Pages should remain useful even if a reader never purchases a membership or submits a lead.

If a listing, source, or guide appears inaccurate, use the contact form and include the page URL, the specific statement, and a current primary source when possible. We review material safety, identity, credential, program, and contact corrections first. Corrections may be documented through a new review date or an editorial note.

Software and AI may assist with organization, editing, and consistency checks. Publication decisions, source selection, claims, and corrections remain subject to editorial review. We do not publish automatically generated location pages merely to target search terms.
